Vintage Wedding Photography: Celynnen Photography style!

In February, Celynnen Photography were at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory in Liverpool for a vintage wedding photoshoot styled by our lovely friends Boris and Betty and we are very excited to announce that it is now featured in the styling section of Perfect Wedding Magazine and on Brides Up North wedding blog! We had a great time with all the suppliers and it was also a chance for us to highlight something which is very important to us as a wedding photographer: Vintage is NOT a colour. It’s not a photoshop effect either! When you take the time to carefully select the colour of your shoes (Arena Seth in this case) and the shade of your dress (a gorgeous selection from Charlotte Balbier and Amanda Wyatt) we want you to remember them exactly how they were 5, 10, 15 years and more in the future as you look through your beautiful wedding album.

BUT, that’s not all we want to talk about! We also have a FREE PHOTOGRAPHY GIVEAWAY!

Find a copy of Perfect Wedding Magazine (I found mine at Sainsburys while Abi, our model found it at her corner shop!) and post a picture of yourself holding it to our page on our Facebook wall and you will get the chance to win a FREE pre-wedding style photoshoot as well as £200 credit with Celynnen Photography! Only condition is that the shoot will be in The North West or North Wales and that we are available for your wedding day (which can be most literally anywhere!

So let’s see those smiling faces! But not before you have a quick look at a few images from the shoot so you know what you’re looking for!

Something blue? What about bridal shoes by Aruna Seth?

We’ve seen other big hearts, but this one from Typical Type is definitely the best we’ve ever seen.

PS: On another little note we really like working with Boris and Betty and look forward to doing many weddings together in the next couple of years. They travel everywhere and this year I know we’re going to the Wirral together as well as Portmeirion amongst other places..

With so many wedding stylists selling vintage wedding ideas, what sets Boris and Betty apart I think is not only the quality of accessories and suppliers they use, but the importance they give to every single details. AND there is the Boris and Betty secret. This is actual footage of them at work!
