Spring is in the air for Celynnen Portrait Photography

It’s a beautiful spring day and here at Celynnen Photography we’re excitedly planning our upcoming weddings this season.  We have the priviledge of working with many beautiful couples at many beautiful locations and here is just a taster things to come…

Peter and Vikki will be tying the knot in May at the stunning Vale Royal Abbey.  We have known Peter for sometime working with his brother Simon over at Riverside Organic, who have helped us improve the lives of the young people we work with.  It’s such an honour to be involved in their special day and we spent a fantastic day shooting them at the family farm where Peter grew up – also where Vikki helped us make national news with the six-legged lambs!!

The planned shoot on the beach with Amy and Oli took an unexpected turn after a surprise appearance of high tide but that couldn’t stop us getting gorgeous shots of these two!!  After the shoot Amy told us “Ioan is actually a genius, I usually hate having my picture taken but he made us feel so relaxed and got some really great shots!”  Though living in London they desired to go back to Amy’s roots and get married in North Wales at Beamaris Church (Ioan’s favourite on Anglesey) and then celebrate at Tros yr Afon.

We had a lovely wintery day for Ross and Laura’s portrait shoot in the woods at Delamere Forest, stopping for some famous steaming hot chocolate, and now can’t wait for another July wedding at Cottons Hotel and Spa in Knutsford.  Cottons holds a special place for us at Celynnen as Ioan and Nickie spent a relaxing spa break there for their 2nd Wedding Anniversary – sparking a tradition of unusually themed anniversary gifts!
