On our wedding, he was absolutely fantastic by making jokes to the bridal party to make everyone relax and laugh and was very professional with everyone. Ioan photographed our wedding in July 2017. We had a great experience - from the very first phone call Ioan was really friendly, making us feel more like friends than clients. We were looking for natural shots of our day, and chose Celynnen because Ioan has real skill in capturing people's genuine happy smiles. He listened to what we wanted and was really flexible - a good job seeing as we had a bit of unusual request to have some wedding pictures with our pug! On the day, Ioan was really laid back and relaxed which helped us to be as well, and got some amazing pictures which we absolutely love. We're really pleased with Celynnen photography and would highly recommend them.

One of my biggest worries when planning our wedding was the photographer, the wedding album will be the longest lasting remind of your big day! Having seen and spoken to several other photographers we met Ioan at a wedding fair, I absolutely loved the relaxed style of his photography (I'm not someone who enjoys having their picture taken!) after a brief conversation I came away knowing I'd found my wedding photographer. From there up until the wedding it's self Ioan and Nicola made the process very easy and straight forward from deciding what we wanted in our package to organising our pre wedding shoot. The wedding day itself went off with out a hitch, Ioan made sure we were everywhere we needed to be at the times we needed to be there, nothing was to much trouble for him. We didn't even notice him milling around snapping away most of the time which meant we could both relax and enjoy our day. All the guest absolutely loved Ioan and still talk about him he settled in like one of the wedding guests. Our wedding album is beautiful and captures all the moments of our day! It tells the story from start to finish we absolutely love it. We truly can't thank you both enough of all you did for us! We would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone. Ioan and Nicola and both extremely lovely people who make you feel welcome from the second you speak with them.

Ioan is an amazing photographer and he brings out the best of everyone in the photos too! He has a natural ability to make people laugh and smile.

We have never ever seen such amazing photos as we received in our wedding album. They are simply stunning and the quality is amazing. It is really hard to describe how good they are in a review but all I can say is that if you book with Celynnen, there is absolutely no way you will be disappointed.

Ioan captured our wedding day in such a way that we can relive the day from looking through our wedding album. Ioan is non intrusive and has a knack for capturing the most beautiful, natural photos. Now we have a new addition to the family, there is no-one else we would trust to capture our most precious memories. Ioan is not just a photographer, he becomes a friend (& someone to talk to about random things like Arnie & Martine Muccutcheon getting killed by cheese ;)

Choosing a photographer for our wedding was an important decision. Luckily for us Owain had experience of working with Ioan through North Wales Crusaders. Ioan is a great guy to work with and just wants to have fun while doing a job he obviously loves. He's so passionate about his work and will do anything in his power to ensure he gets the best shots.

We were both a bit nervous about being in front of the camera but our pre-wedding shoot with Ioan put us at ease. It really helped to know what he would need us to do on the big day.

Behind every man though there's a great woman, Ioan's wife. Nicola's communications via email and answers to any questions we had we're very helpful. The time sheet for the wedding day is a great idea and ensured our day ran smoothly and we got the pictures we wanted.

The big day went very smoothly. Ioan and his assistant were great in getting everybody in place for photos. But the best bit is all the photos he takes without you actually knowing he's doing it. The best photos are of people acting natural and several guests commented that they forgot he was there taking pictures, this is a great compliment to Ioan as there's nothing worse than constantly having to pose on demand.

After the wedding the service didn't end there and Ioan came to visit us at home and set up a display through our tv to show us all the photos. We were able to see all them he had taken and have the option of changing pics we weren't so keen on. But in all honesty Nicola had done a great job selecting the best pictures and I think we only changed 2 out of the 130+ pics. We would highly recommend Celynnen Photography to any couple looking to get quality service and most of all quality pictures.

Dylan and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing our special day. Choosing a photographer was always going to be difficult especially when we had no recommendations from anyone and didn’t visit any wedding fares. However from the moment you first visited my house to receiving the wedding album your service has been exceptional.

The pre wedding shoot that you provided really helped to get used to the camera and at the same time gave us time to get to know you a bit better thus making it easier to be able to speak to you and communicate to make sure you captured the day how we wanted it to be. You made us feel really comfortable and we had such a good time with you.

On the day itself you didn’t just capture the day perfectly you also helped out with other things, you went far and beyond what we would class as your call of duty without compromising the quality of the pictures that were taken. I felt and I know Dylan did to that we were really happy to have you in the wedding because we really felt like you understood us as a couple.

Your service didn’t just stop at that either, you continued to provide an exceptional service after the wedding. The fact that you came over to our house once again to show us what pictures had been taken and also the album that Nicola had put together was a great help. This meant you were able to fit the meeting around our life which if I recall correctly you visited at 8pm!

I can ensure you that we had no regrets choosing Celynnen Photography and would certainly recommend you to EVERYONE in the future. We are so pleased to have met you.

We saw Celynnen Photography for the first time at a wedding fayre at Carden Park hotel, back in 2011. We were looking for a high standard of photography, but something more along the traditional album style, and it was a relief to finally find a photographer who met our requirements, without extortionate prices. We received friendly and professional levels of service throughout - from our initial meeting with Nicola at the fayre; followed up shortly after when Ioan visited us at our house; to our free pre-wedding photoshoot at a location of our choice (to help us learn to relax infront of the camera); the main shoot on our wedding day; and not forgetting the personal delivery of the album by Ioan a few months later. Nicola kept us informed throughout the whole process, ensuring everything was organised accordingly. What we really liked was the fact that Ioan spent the time to get to know us as people, and ensured that we felt at ease with him during the photo-shoots. His quirky nature, especially his singing!, ensured we were smiling and laughing naturally, which always helps when you are having your picture taken! We certainly have no regrets using Celynnen Photography for our wedding, and they come highly recommended from us.

Ioan Said is a brilliant photographer, with a keen eye to detail and a creative style which is flexible and adaptable to each and every situation. Whether that is a wedding, a social function, a modelling photo shoot session or other. He is a gentleman and his personal qualities as a person shine through his work, making it very easy to work with him – and he is always open to ideas and suggestions (always the sign of a knowledgeable and experienced photographer). I have worked with Ioan twice, once during a charity event where Ioan had been hired to shoot the event for the papers, and the second time recently for my own personal portfolio. As an actor and model, it is very important to me to be able to work with someone I feel comfortable with, and who I know will bring out the best in the final product. Ioan provides an excellent service – and is a lovely guy too! I had a fantastic day with Celynnen Photography! I hadn’t done a professional shoot before so Ioan gave me suggestions and feedback to get the best results. He was enthusiastic and positive, it was very encouraging! I felt fantastic all day and the images that were produced were brilliant! I can’t wait to work with Celynnen Photography again.
