Portmeirion Wedding Photographers
Portmerion is VERY special to Celynnen Photography! It's the venue where we did our VERY FIRST WEDDING 10 years ago!!
And though we've been there many times for weddings, portrait photography, taking pictures of their interiors and New Years brochure and many more occasions, we never tire of it. We even went there for our first night away from home with our now two year old son!
The location itself is AMAZING! An Italianate village, the village is a tribute to Portofino and reminds us of a day by the Mediterranean sea which is always a great place to be (and REALLY great if you were thinking of having a Destination Wedding!) The Village, which was featured in popular 60's tv show The Prisoner also features beautiful flora and a woodland
It's got lovely large airy rooms with beautiful light for the bride and the bridal party (and the groom!) to get prepared for their big day:
The Hercules hall is famous for it's spectacular roof and is one of my favourite rooms for a wedding ceremony due to the gorgeous light!
Another reason I like weddings in Portmeirion is that the village is open for the day so brides and grooms get to experience lots of people congratulating the happy couple and often complimenting the bride on how beautiful she looks!
The restaurant in the hotel is a beautiful setting and the food is always AMAZING!
It sets all guests up well for the speeches!
The gardens make a wonderful setting for group photos...
But the most amazing part is the sheer amount of beautiful and unique and private locations where couples can have their portraits.
Then back to Hercules Hall for a party!
