As you might have seen pop up here and there on the website, our motto, if we can call it that, is “we do happy well.” With that in mind, I’m sure you’ll agree that Hannah and Pete were the perfect match for Celynnen Photography! The day started a bit Morecambe and Wise with both the groom and best man in bed, slowly and rather confidently writing their speeches. Yes, on the morning of the wedding. The whole day was very exciting and emotional for Hannah and I also think her dad was rather blown away by how beautiful she looked in her dress and those moments are really lovely to capture.
Hannah is a massive Manchester City fan and though he hasn’t publicly admitted to it, I think Pete is too so it was nice that friends and family joined in the fun for an unusual group picture. We then went off to take pictures around the beautiful village Sir Clough designed. We never take our couples late for their ceremony or for their meal as we’re there to capture the day, NOT take it over. But we’re always grateful when we have a bit of time to take a few lovely portraits, specially when in such a spectacular setting!
And then, they danced the night away.. it was a fantastic party and I can’t thank them enough for having me!
One last thing before we show you the pictures… WE DID IT! Thanks to you, we’ve been nominated for the third year in a row for the Welsh National Wedding Awards in the Best Wedding Photographer category! We’ve won best wedding photographer in North Wales for the past two years so obviously we hope to do so again this year but we wouldn’t even be nominated if it wasn’t for all the lovely couples that gave us the honour of asking us to shoot their wedding and then voting for us!
