We've said before and we'll say it again, we LOVE doing wedding photography (or any photography in fact) at Pormeirion! A photographer's dream the italianate village, also host to Festival number 6 was looking great for Laura and Richard's wedding day, the sun sun shining down giving us all the impression that we were by the Mediterannean sea!
Laura and Richard went for a TRUE vintage style (no, vintage is not a photoshop or instagram effect..) and they looked fantastic! We were there till the speeches but still managed to capture lots of lovely moments!
Here's the wedding in Laura's words. Don't forget to scroll down to see the amazing wedding suppliers they chose for their big day!
"Our wedding day really couldn’t have been more perfect. It had been a life-long dream to get married at Portmeirion and it’s difficult to be anything but joyously happy there. It was the overwhelming helpfulness and kindness of everyone involved though, which really helped to create the relaxed holiday feel we’d hoped for. The blazing sunshine didn't hurt either!
Neither of us enjoy having our photograph taken and Celynnen Photography was thus the perfect choice for us. We didn’t even notice Ioan snapping away for much of the day and for the couple shots he made us laugh so much it was impossible to look self-conscious. We feel so fortunate to have such an amazing set of photographs that truly capture the essence of the day. They make us smile every time we look at them."
Thank you Laura! :)
