Amy & Oli’s Wedding in Anglesey
Amy & Oli got married on 6th June at St Mary’s & St Nicholas’s church in Beaumaris and had their reception at Tros-yr-Afon it was a beautiful day, the sun shone and the happy couple were surrounded by lovely family & friends.
We had previously done the pre wedding shoot for them at Red Wharf Bay which lies between the villages of Pentraeth and Benllech on the East coast of Anglesey. We had a great time on the pre wedding shoot but we did get caught out by the times of the tides and had to change our plans at the last minute, it all ended up ok and we got some great pictures. We also got to know Amy & Oli really well which is the point of these shoots.
The wedding ceremony was held at St Marys and St Nicholas church in Beaumaris, a beautiful 14th century church that is also on the Isle of Anglesey. There is a fabulous stained glass window which looks down on the couple during the ceremony.
Amy’s dress was designed by Maggie Sottero and was bought through Wedding Belles in North Wales who by all accounts were fantastic. Her flowers were from Bluebells in Llanfairpwll, Helen who is the owner was brilliant and there were so many compliments on the arrangement. Oli’s suit was hired from Moss Bros.
The wedding reception was held at Tros yr Afon which is only a 10 minute drive from the church, the beautiful gardens, accommodation and surroundings make this the perfect place for a wedding.
As you can see the couple are lots of fun and we have captured their first dance, the band were called Dr Jazz who were absolutely brilliant and great fun.
We had a lovely time at Amy & Oli’s wedding and we wish them all the luck for the future.
