Hello! It’s been a long time since we last posted a blog! In fact almost a year! But that will all change, PROMISE!
We had a lot of changes at Celynnen Photography including the addition Jess to our team, our gold award for Best wedding album and we’ve had a lot of amazing weddings we can wait to share with you. But there’s MORE!
2017 Will be the year that Celynnen Photography will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and we want to celebrate with very lucky couple! Read this blog for more information on how you can win FREE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY!
But first, let me introduce this post. It’s about Chris and Kristin and their beautiful wedding at Bodrhyddan Hall, easily one of the most spectacular venues in the area. It was an amazing wedding with lots of smiles and laughter and probably the most touching father and mother of the bride’s speech I have ever witnessed. There was song, there was poetry and many, many happy moments. The reason why I’m not saying that much more is because Kristin as actually written wonderful review for us! So have a quick read, have a look at the pictures, and remember about looking out for information on how to win your wedding photography!

“Like most couples planning for their wedding, we spent a good portion of our time searching for a wedding photographer. This in our opinion, is one of the most important aspects of the day, as the photographer captures all the joys and emotions of a truly momentous occasion for you to look back on and reflect on what an amazing day it was. Memories fade, but pictures can be passed down through the generations.
We stumbled across Celynnen’s web page and straight away began to think this must be the one for us. Looking through his gallery and reading reviews only confirmed our thoughts even more.
Once we had spoken to Ioan and made the booking we knew we would be in safe hands. Having met with Ioan to discuss the booking, he got to know us better and his personality and charm really came through.
Closer to the date we carried out our pre-wedding shoot at the venue where Ioan’s fun-loving personality came to the fore and helped ease us into feeling relaxed and comfortable while he snapped away happily at us smooching in front of him. It wasn’t that type of pre-wedding shoot before you go there!
With the pictures developed we couldn’t help but get excited at how the wedding pics were going to turn out as they were just wonderful.
The big day arrived and as expected, Ioan was on point for it all. Almost invisible but always amongst the action and able to herd groups of guests to exactly how he wants them for the perfect shot.
Looking back through the pictures has brought many a tear to many of the guests as he truly did capture all the wonderful moments of the day that we often missed, bringing back such happy memories.
We couldn’t rate Celynnen photography any higher and would most definitely recommend his services to anyone who needs it. No just for weddings either.
Ioan has been nothing but a genuine professional, with an easy to like, fun-loving personality that allowed us to be comfortable and relaxed so we could just enjoy the day. We also now have the most fantastic pictures to look back on all thanks to Celynnen photography and for this we say, thank you.
It truly was a joy and a pleasure.
Bodrhyddan Hall
Having searched high and low for the perfect venue that met all our criteria we couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw Bodrhyddan Hall. It’s vast, luscious gardens and a building steeped in rich heritage, really grabbed our attention and made us say wow! It really had it all.
With the booking secure we met up with the staff who were more than welcoming and happy to offer advice and assistance with the logistics of the big day. The idea was to have an outdoor wedding with a marquee reception so arrangement between the marquee company and Bodrhyddan Hall regarding access for setting up/taking down really was smooth and painless. Without this agreed access period, all part of the booking too, the marquee would not have had enough time to set up ultimately preventing us from setting the tables and decorations etc. without missing any sleep anyway.
That being said, British weather being what it is, the service had to be held inside at last minutes notice which the staff were only too happy to arrange and set up easing what could have been a major disruption.
Having guests travel from across the world to be with us on our special day, we knew we had to pull out all the stops and choosing Bodrhyddan Hall s the venue played a massive part in this. We have heard nothing but praise and compliments for what was a truly wonderful day but the credit surely goes to the services we booked and the work they did.
Bodrhyddan Hall more than just a picture perfect venue, it’s staff are kind, polite and helpful. We would highly recommend just visiting this spectacular place yet booking it for a wedding.
