Dani and Dom's wedding at Ruthin Castle
The perfect fairy tale wedding often involves a perfect fairy tale castle! And Ruthin Castle is the wedding venue Dani and Dom chose for their beautiful wedding!
It was a lovely day and a very special day for me too as I've known Dani since her early teens and seeing her grow up in this beautiful young woman, talented, world-class tae kwon do player and now teacher. Was also great to see her dad, David, smile more than I've ever seen him before!
Here's Dani's view of the day:
"Dani: On the morning of the wedding I felt so nervous, which is strange for a Taekwondo athlete! I think it is because I had put so much hard work in to planning and prearing the wedding and now it was here, I was nervous about it all running smoothly! We had had some absolutely heart-breaking and devastating news both the week before and the day before the wedding, so I was anxious about what else was going to go wrong! I was dressed and ready with time to spare and once I put 'The Dress' on, it was like magic and I was ready to marry my best friend! As soon as the ceremony was completed without any hiccups I just loved absolutely every minute of our day. I loved having all of my family and friends in one place, I loved how the sun was shining (but it wasn't too sweaty hot) and I loved how happy everyone was! It was so perfect and magical, it was like a dream."
