Bethan and Jamie's wedding at Plas Isaf

Being a wedding photographer, I was able to capture so many beautiful weddings in 2016 all over Cheshire and North Wales, visiting some new (to us) wedding venues and other we know well!

Plas Isaf is a venue Celynnen Photography knows very well and that beautiful barn wedding venue by Corwen is where Bethan and Jamie chose to celebrate their wedding!

When it comes to weddings, I tend to believe that the more personal touches, the better. Well, this wedding had an extra personal touch as the wedding ceremony was conducted by Jamie's mum! How amazing would that be as a parent and, obviously, for the married couple!? LOVE IT!

Lots of great memories from the wedding. First, the smile they had for each other was absolutely beautiful and they were full of smiles and laughter, even when the weather decided to show up in a funny mood! The bridesmaids were really lovely and there for the bride & NOTHING would have kept the best man away from the wedding and I'm always touched by that kind of loyalty and dedication in friendship.

Now you probably noticed, I'm not a writer, so let's let Bethan talk about how she felt about the wedding:

"We both felt so nervous but unbelievably excited. Completely overwhelmed by the help and support we had had in leading up to the big day and we couldn't believe all the work and effort everyone had made. It was so amazing to see all our guests there and we felt so touched that everyone had travelled to be part of it. Our wedding day exceeded all our expectations and really was the most incredible day of our lives. We enjoyed every minute and laughed and/or cried all day! The whole day was just so special and it was amazing to see the day come together. We then loved seeing our photos after our wedding day-they captured the whole day so well and it was like re-living the day again.Ioan you made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we love our wedding photos!"

Band-The After Party. Would really recommend them. They were really nice friendly people. They rang us before our wedding and were brilliant on the night! They sounded amazing and kept the dance floor full!
