Ffion and Aron's wedding at Pentre Mawr
Our next blog post (we're on a roll here!) is this lovely wedding at Pentre Mawr Hotel where Aron and Ffion celebrated after tying a beautiful church in Halkyn.
Pentre Mawr is a beautiful 5 star, family owned country house hotel near Dendigh with beautiful cottages and fantastic safari style lodges!
They also have an amazing wedding barn where the party carried on in the early morning hours!
The ceremony was made that much lovelier by the voice of the bride who surprised more than one with how beautifully she could sing! Later in the day, the bride and groom surprised each other by singing to each other as well! I love it when people love each other so much can demontrate it to each other in such a lovely way! Last time we had something similar was 4 years before when Lydia and Tom, who had met each other in a choir, we belting the hymns out in church accompanied by 3 choirs!

How Ffion felt: There was an hour in the morning when I couldn't even touch the mountain of bacon butties or champagne that had been brought in for breakfast. As soon as I had my full bridal look completed I took a moment just to stare at myself and take it all in. Never have I ever felt so beautiful. I couldn't wait to get to the church but then I had to lace my bridesmaids into their dresses! Walking up the aisle was hard (I wanted to run up it). I had the most magical day and many musical moments that I will remember for the rest of my life.
How Aron felt: Cool, calm and collected in the morning...so much so that I didn't even get dressed until 15 minutes before we had to leave. I was excited for the whole day (except when I was waiting in church). People tell me that the wedding breakfast and wedding cake was delicious, but I'll never know. I was too nervous about my "speech song". Despite any nerves, it was the best day of my life.
You don't want your wedding day to end and Ioan ensures that it never has to by capturing it moment by moment in timeless elegance.

Another thing I'll remember of the day and working with Ffion and Aron generally is how How much they make each other smile and laugh! We took great pictures the next day of Aron enjoying his favorite sport (fishing) while still dressed in his groom's outfit!
