Rebecca & Victor's Wedding at The Quay Hotel, Deganwy

We have had such a lovely busy summer, and still have a good few weddings yet to go, but are finally able to catch up on our blog!

Back in April we photographed Rebecca & Victor's wedding at The Quay Hotel in Deganwy, a beautiful hotel overlooking the marina, with views of Conwy Castle in the background. We have worked there many times over the last 10 years and always make the most of the balcony and the unique gardens!

Rebecca & Victor's wedding was a very special one as it was also their sending off party, as they were embarking on a new life in Australia just a few days after the wedding! As such it was full of lots of memorable moments, from Victor's arrival in his father-in-law-to-be's sports car, to portraits on the beach, video-games and fireworks to finish off the evening, it was a fun-filled day and we were pleased to be able to capture it for them. In Rebecca's words;

"We are still smiling about our wedding 4 months on, and no doubt we will be forever! We felt so filled with love throughout the whole day, from each other of course but also from our wonderful friends and family. I had always dreamed of an elopement on the beach and Victor's ideal wedding was of the traditional big white wedding variety. Our small ceremony at the Quay Hotel, saying our vows with panoramic views of the water, followed by a big happy party was the perfect coming together of the two of us. It was a very emotional day that had everything we wanted: our close family and friends around us, a lovely venue in a beautiful part of the world, good food and good music, and fireworks! We are so grateful to all of our suppliers for helping give us the day we always dreamed of and in particular to Ioan for keeping us to schedule and making us laugh all day long!"
