April & Adam's Wedding at Portmeirion

One of our absolute favourite wedding venues is Portmeirion in North Wales, where we photographed April and Adam's wedding in June.

The lovely thing about Portmeirion is all the beautiful village houses where you can get ready and the wonderful locations for portraits throughout the village - we've scoped them all out in our many weddings (and holidays) there!

For ceremonies, there are two rooms in the Town Hall - Hercules Hall and The Tudor Room. As a smaller wedding April & Adam chose the Tudor Room which is beautiful with lovely natural light streaming in the windows.

In April's words;

"We both hate attention which is why we opted for a small wedding. We were both extremely excited and nervous. but once we came together all the nerves disappeared and we wondered why we had spent many months dreading getting married infront of people.

We enjoyed spending the day in the beautiful sunshine with our closest friends not worrying about anybody but ourselves."

Hair: by Sarah from Heat in Llandudno who is my oldest and one of my best friends. There is not many people I trust with my hair. I trusted her that much that we decided what we were doing with my hair that morning, it was absolutely perfect.

Make up: by Jaimee Wellings from Elegance in Tal Y Bont. Another best friend, we winged my make up that morning too.
