HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I know it's not January but we're back with a new blog post which is from our first wedding of the year, Nia and Richard's Wedding at Lake Vyrnwy.
Lake Vyrnwy if you're not familiar is a gorgeous venue overlooking an amazing reservoir. Besides offering great views and making it a perfect venue for weddings and romantic breaks, it's also dog friendly!
The wedding was amazing! Rich and Nia were so much fun to be with and so relaxed and they had an lovely group of friends who played music and sang on the day for them and I can say EVERYONE was moved when Nia's 7yo nephew read a poem during the ceremony! They then partied through the night!
Here is the wedding in Nia's words:
"It was a really happy and relaxed day full of love and laughter. We both have big families and to have them all in the same room alongside our friends was so special. The ceremony was perfect with my 7yr old nephew reading a poem that my sister had written 'My Auntie's Getting Married' which everyone absolutely loved, another reading by sister Stephanie; this time using the romantic words of Metallica and then a dozen of our girlfriends performed a choir version of Wings by Birdy, amazing. We didn't fluff our lines and the day continued to be full of fun with the amazing magician Julian James who we brought all the way up from London to amaze our guests - he succeeded in baffling everyone with his suave approach to magic. And we danced the night away with a brilliant band and play list. Celynnen photography did a great job of capturing many moments without being intrusive, we would recommend.
